Albert Bloch

(born August 2, 1882 in St. Louis, Missouri , USA, died. December 9, 1961 in Lawrence, Kansas, USA)-American painter and translator. His parents were German-Jewish immigrants from the Czech Republic, resident in the year 1869 in the USA. A lbert Bloch, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Louis and earned while in 1905-1908 the figures in the Art Nouveau style for the weekly The Mirror. Weekly magazine publisher in recognition of his talent, he founded a monthly stipend to allow Blochowi studies in Europe.
